An exciting leadership opportunity has presented in the Fleet team to be located in Tamworth.

About the Role

The Regional Fleet Lead will drive the strategic direction of Fleet within a designated region in the delivery of effective business outcomes that will ensure operational objectives are achieved through a focus on best practice, sustainable financial approaches, and safety leadership.

The Regional Fleet Lead will be responsible for the regional asset/operational management of Essential Energy’s vehicle fleet and services and driving a commercial and safety culture across the region. 

The Person

The Regional Fleet Lead requires a relevant degree in business, engineering or other relevant discipline or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications.  Post graduate studies in asset management/fleet management practices are desirable.

Skills & Experience

The Regional Fleet Lead will utilise their extensive specialised professional experience in the areas of business or asset management to manage and prioritise an extensive asset portfolio, including full life cycle management with a focus on commercial objectives. You will be an exceptional leader with an innate ability to motivate a team to deliver high quality in tight time frames.  You will have a sound knowledge of regulations and Australian standards and implications for the Essential Energy Fleet as well as work practices. You will be able to demonstrate experience in maturing organisational capabilities to oversee the development and implementation of policies affecting plant operation . Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be effective in gaining cooperation in the alignment of resources across the organisation together with your ability to positively influence a range of stakeholders and proven skills in developing and managing strategic partnerships with external parties.
