The opportunity

We are currently seeking an Executive Officer to join our team in Port Macquarie. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Officer will pursue the provision of timely and relevant advice, information and services and exercise exceptional stakeholder engagement and organisational support, in a highly confidential environment.

The role will provide proactive and efficient high level administration management and strategic planning services to the CEO. It will serve as liaison for the CEO, supporting senior leaders and other employees to manage the flow of work in and out of the office of the CEO, whilst providing clear oversight and communication of roles, requirements and expectations.

The successful candidate will work with the CEO to prepare for critical stakeholder meetings and organise information in a way that is strategic, innovative, logical and identifies key risks. You will attend meetings, conferences, high level briefings, and strategic policy meetings; briefing leadership regarding significant findings, developments, and results.

We are seeking a strong communicator with a deep understanding of the political landscape and a willingness to challenge the status quo respectfully, to break down silos and reduce red tape in a collaborative way. A strong commercial acumen and customer centric approach is essential to the effectiveness of this role in addition to an ability to absorb, process and interpret detailed information to drive substantial change agendas.  

If you have tertiary qualifications relevant to the role and a wealth of experience in administrative management and strategic planning services, this role may be perfectly suited to you.
