Within our Asset Management division, Essential Energy have a unique opportunity for an Major Network Connections Manager to assist in the growth of our network 

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a career driven professional with strong stakeholder management. You will be supporting the Network Optimisation branch and external stakeholders through the provision of expertise relating to all major and minor network connections, including changing network loading in a manner that ensures organisational growth, commercial outcomes, the long-term integrity of the network and regulatory compliance. The Major Network Connections Manager will provide leadership and strategic direction across the business in the policy and procedural management and engagement of customers for all network connections. 

About your experience

You will have proven experience in high profile stakeholder management and business development, with significant weighting of experience in the electricity distribution industry. Experience in contract negotiations, legal interpretations and potential impacts on internal and external stakeholders. You will also need to be able to demonstrate abilities in developing and implementing asset management plans in a regulatory industry, balancing costs and performance outcomes whilst meeting regulatory and legislative requirements.  Your person attributes and qualities will also encompass commercial considerations and risk management principles, strong conflict management and resolution skills and ability to influence multiple stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships across all levels of the business and externally.
