We currently have an opportunity for a AM, Process, Network Business Reporting & Planning Manager.

The AM Process, Network Business Reporting and Planning Manager will drive the culture of Asset Management throughout the business and promote the value of collaboration and collective decision making to all stakeholders. The role will drive the business to achieve alignment with ISO55001 and increase asset management maturity by developing a management framework of end to end asset management business processes, procedures and policies to ensure a clear line of sight from corporate strategy, asset management policy through to asset management objectives. 

Experience and Skills Required for the role:

  • Demonstrated experience in asset management with significant weighting of experience in the electricity distribution industry including management of network assets policies, procedures and systems
  • Strong leadership experience with demonstrated experience in leading effective asset management teams including direction setting and effective change management
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strategic plans with a strong understanding of commercial considerations and risk management principles including, consequence, likelihood and residual risk
  • Working knowledge of asset management practices and standards including ISO55001 • Excellent knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements eg WHS, IPART, AER, Electricity Act, etc
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing process improvement initiatives, including automation of complex processes and strategic business reporting
  • Demonstrated experience undertaking benchmarking and best practice research and initiatives.

Skills

  • Advanced data analysis and researching skills for senior management reports for direction setting, strategic industry and commercial insights
  • Professional interpersonal and influencing skills with a proven ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to build collaborative working relationships across all levels of the business and with industry partners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare executive and external documentation, strategic plans, reports, briefings, and socialise recommendations for business implementation
  • Excellent skills in computer operations and business system software to gather and prepare reports.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree of Business Management, Finance or Economics or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
